Tap
Happy Feet Dance Academy offer classes in Tap for both children and adults. We focus on the teaching of technique and performance, ensuring that from a young age our dancers are confident in the basic elements, allowing them to progress to an advanced standard. Through their experience, our Academy teachers ensure our dancers explore a variety of Tap styles from traditional to modern.

Jazz
Jazz Dance offers an extensive range of styles; from Commercial Jazz as seen on TV, to the more traditional Jazz/Modern Stage and Lyrical styles. Within our Jazz classes, we incorporate Body Conditioning and Stretching to ensure a good level of flexibility for our dancers. Jazz classes offer the opportunity to learn creative and exciting routines, as well as performance confidence.

Hip Hop / Street
This ever popular style of dance continues to evolve; however as an Academy we pride ourselves on teaching our dancers the fundamental elements and technique of Hip Hop/Street Dance. Within this discipline of dance, we offer the opportunity to compete at recognised Street Dance competitions, as well as regular public performances.

Adult Tap & Jazz
No one is ever 'too old' to learn to dance. At Happy Feet Dance Academy, our Adult Tap and Jazz classes have been running for 25 years, and we continue to welcome anyone who would like to introduce themselves to a new hobby or refresh their previous dancing skills. Our Adult classes offer a welcoming and friendly environment and public performances and show participation is entirely optional.

Musical Theatre
As an Academy we are beginning to introduce our dancers to Musical Theatre, through in-house workshops. The aim of this is to build a level of confidence in our dancers through vocal and expressive performance, offering them the opportunity to learn routines choreographed to songs from well-recognised West End Theatre and Film based musicals.
